Bounded Media ( Physical Channel)

Unbounded Media ( Logical Channel)

  1. It is also known as guided media.
  2. The waves are guided along a solid medium like a copper wire.
  3. It is applicable for LAN.
  4. It is Cheap.
Example:- Twisted pair, Optical Fibre,etc
  1. It is also known as unguided media.
  2. There is no Guidence for Electonic wave.
  3. It is use in WAN.
  4. It is Costly.
Example:- Radiowave , Microwave,etc.
